The research activities conducted at the Institute in the area of vacuum technology are the continuation of the research activities of the Industrial Institute of Electronics, which was one of the most important centres in country for the development and production of advanced subassemblies and high vacuum devices. The Institute’s interdisciplinary current research into vacuum-related activities is focused on vacuum chamber testing, electron beam technologies, mass spectrometers and composite layer technology.
